SPEAKER: Welch Agnew
Afflicted with polio as a boy, he nevertheless played high school baseball, graduated from West Point, and was a career Army officer. He attended Airborne and Ranger schools, served in the 82nd Airborne Division and did a tour in Viet Nam as a pilot. He later became a veterinarian and he’s going to talk about his work as a veterinarian with both the Army and Pinellas County Animal Services. Dr. Agnew spearheaded a battle to control a serious rabies outbreak in Pinellas County.
